Your study, not our interpretation
Marginality is designed around the notes and sources a reader chooses. It organizes study material without presenting itself as a theological authority.
About Marginality
Marginality is a Bible-centered study app built to preserve the connections between Scripture and the notes, questions, handwritten pages, and teaching material a reader brings to it.
Why it exists
Marginalia are the notes, marks, cross-references, and reflections written in the margins of a text. Across hand-copied manuscripts and printed Bibles, readers have used that nearby space to preserve what helped them see and remember: a connection between passages, a question to revisit, a prayer, or an insight received through teaching.
The margin has never been merely empty space. It is where careful reading leaves a record and where an insight waits to be found again. But a physical margin has a natural limit: something written beside one passage stays there, even when it belongs beside many others.
Marginality carries this enduring practice forward. Typed notes, handwritten pages, and saved teaching can connect to every passage they reference and return wherever those passages are opened. Instead of leaving an insight in one margin, Marginality lets it travel with the Scripture that gives it meaning.
Product values
Marginality is designed around the notes and sources a reader chooses. It organizes study material without presenting itself as a theological authority.
A Scripture reference should be more than formatted text. It should help you preview a passage, open it, and return without losing your place.
Notes should remain useful and portable. Marginality treats export, local access, and clear premium boundaries as product responsibilities.
Translation attribution, publisher requirements, and the boundaries around licensed Bible content are considered in the product and its public materials.
The current work
Current development is centered on making ordinary note writing and retrieval dependable, completing Marginality+ release readiness, improving written-note and video workflows, and keeping the experience coherent across mobile and desktop.
